Sink Overflow to First Floor

A sink overflow from the 1st floor is what caused this formal loss.  The water line then seeped into the basement itself.  The basement, which is finished and below grade poses a very common issue – as people like to make more portions of their home livable.  Fortunately for this loss there is some ceiling and flooring and drywall affected but contained.  No flooring needed to pulled for this loss. Due to fast or quick action by the property owner, the damages were contained and therefore limited – which significantly reduced the potential loss exposure or cost.  As the line is within the walls again access becomes a more common issue and plumbers tend to be very abrasive in damaging portions that are not affected but if it shows signs of moisture, they can commonly mark and show where mitigation or contractors need to cut anyways.
