mold Spores on Carpeting

This photo shows that visible mold spores presenting themselves with no real evidence of a water or direct physical loss.  Humidity is the moisture contained in the air itself, and when left to higher levels, can allow for pliable or exposed elements of a property to become affected by it.  If left or exposed to even slight moisture, darkness and continued humidity, the mold can continue to prosper and grow.  This likely had been the site of a water or liquid intrusion at one time or another.  The lack of formal addressing initially led the present damages. As the flooring shows a white and green mixture, it is purely air transmitted from the humidity in the air.  This is a fairly easy mitigation job however since the bacterial overgrowth does not require full on remediation, or even reconstruction and likely can be treated with the proper cleaning techniques and chemicals.
